Jersey Motorhome & Caravan Rules

If you are thinking of bringing your motorhome or caravan across the Channel, there are some important rules to note before parking and setting up camp for the night. In recent years, the States have implemented laws and frequent checks on those who stay in their motorhome or vans overnight in public carparks – this is no longer allowed, and there can be a fine involved if this law is disobeyed.

Please note carpark stay and arrival rules, as well as parking rules, which differ in carparks across the island. Away from the south coast, there is usually a 12-hour parking rule, so just make sure you don’t overstay, or have somewhere to move on to.

Luckily, there are many campsites that offer a place for your motorhome or caravan so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding somewhere to park up on this beautiful island!
