We’ve been running an island-wide survey in Jersey revealing that 62% of islanders are annoyed by their friend, family or partner’s mobile use whilst on holiday – yet only 37% of those surveyed felt they use their phone too much on holiday.
It was not so long ago that you turned your phone off before you boarded the plane to get away from it all and explore the world with people you care about. You would probably not turn it back on until you arrived home! These values still polled the highest in the survey.
